I work with teenagers everyday and I have a nine year old daughter of my own and I must say that this book truly guided me on how to make sure that LOVE served as the foundation to all that I do!  I additionally found the different scenarios in each chapter to be very helpful because they allowed me to understand how to apply the lessons given in this book.  Kudos!!!

From Barnes and Noble:  Must Read!!
 

This book is awesome! It touches on any concern you may have with dealing with your child at school and at home. It made me aware that I have to be more conscious of my reactions to my child and her behaviors, also her needs. 'Parent to Power' really helped me tap into the areas that I needed to improve in, in doing so the author also encouraged me that its definitely possible when you 'Think' about what you're doing. This book gives you the instructions you need for daily life with your child, and also provides the spiritual foundation (scriptures) throughout the book to use as references. I can honestly say, my relationship with my daughter has improved from reading this book and it also help me believe that I hold the God given Power to Parent and do it very well! This truly will be a great investment that will be beneficial for you and your family.

I highly recommend this book. There is no other book that teaches you how to discover your child’s learning style and discusses how parents are to bless and edify their child.   My children reads the book. This book helped me by showing me how to tailor my parenting for the results that I want. I was educated on education. More importantly, I was given real case scenarios to show alternative methods of parenting. This helped a lot.
